Wasteland Results

So, I literally had to cram this overnight.
I had worked so much on the last painting I uploaded, that if left me with two days to finish this to submit it to Congressional Art Competition.

Then my art teacher was like 'oh lawls, I'm going to turn everything in a day early, so bring it tomorrow.'
All I had was the guy painted, and no background.

I go back and forth between really like this, and being grossed out by it.

This also looks a lot more childish on photo than IRL. :/

I was trying a lot of wet on wet technique for the guy, but in my rush, I basically fell back to my old bold techniques for the background, but I think that adds more nonetheless.

This has a meaning along the lines of regrets of actions that bring desolation and destruction, both in ones surroundings and mental state.
